There are three variables which determine the price of a cake:

  1. The number of people it will serve (its size)
  2. The flavor of the cake and its filling
  3. The complexity of the design

The smallest cake that we can draw on is an 8-inch round, serving 10-12 people.

Cutting out a cake to a special shape adds at least an additional $20 to its price because of the extra labor involved.

Experience has taught us that some fillings and frostings work better than others, preventing problems with slippage on certain cake styles.

Choosing certain styles can limit your selection of either cake, filling or frosting flavors.

Order Early! Yes, there is a limit to the number of cakes that our bakers can bake and decorate in one day. We are generally booked to capacity 2 and sometimes 3 weeks in advance. Please plan ahead! SnowflakesOrder your cakes early as you possibly can to avoid disappointment. This is especially important during the summer months and near traditional holidays. We may not be able to accommodate your order unless you give us sufficient lead time. Ask about delivery charges.

WHAT IS WINE CAKE?

Mary Sangueniti told me it was originally made to eat or dip in Wine. (We don’t put wine in the recipe).

It is like a nutty tort, moist with walnuts, raspberry filling and powdered sugar is sprinkled on top.

The Wine Cake serves eight (8) slices and is wrapped for gift giving or indulging you sweet tooth.
